Description
Sangiovese Scarabocchio is a distinguished Sangiovese Rubicone IGT from the picturesque hills of Bertinoro in Emilia-Romagna. Crafted with grapes harvested using traditional methods from low-yield vineyards, this wine undergoes long maceration and fermentation at controlled temperatures, followed by six months of aging in steel tanks, a short passage in wood barrels, and three months in the bottle. Deep ruby red in colour, it offers vinous aromas with notes of violets and ripe cherries. On the palate, it is harmonious and slightly tannic, with a pleasant aftertaste.
