Description
‘I Camponi’ is among our most popular and sought-after IGP wines, named after a historic plot of land cherished by our family and neighbouring residents who would assist in harvesting its abundant produce. The name ‘Camponi’ is derived from the local dialect phrase ‘campi boni,’ meaning ‘good fields.’ This designation refers to the three flat hectares that benefit from excellent sun exposure and are nourished by streams flowing from the east and west. Historically, the people of old Badin brought their cattle to these streams to graze and drink, while also using the water to irrigate the crops. The land’s esteemed reputation has been preserved and enhanced, culminating in this complex, elegant, and exclusive wine.
